ITALIA

Italia is an Italian board game for 2-6 players. It's designed to help build Italian vocabulary, fluency, quick-thinking and understanding - and to have fun. The board has ten different types of square, each one representing a different 'activity'. Five of these activities have boxes with cards which sit at the bottom of the board in small boxes and a small flowerpot. It requires a basic knowledge of Italian, but can be adapted to suit different levels of competence. It's a co-operative, not a competitive game.

The board can be printed out in four sections, which overlap, and can then be stuck onto thick card or wood. There are printouts for the space occupied by the boxes of cards at the bottom of the board.

Tokens from games such as Monopoly are ideal to identify the individual players.
